Thinking of paying us a visit?
There’s always something going on at Glebe Farm, and we’d love for you to come and see it for yourself. Set in the pretty village of Astbury in south Cheshire, we’re home to alpacas, donkeys, ponies, goats and more, all kept in the paddocks and fields around the farm, so there’s plenty to say hello to whatever the weather.
Once you’ve said hello to the animals, there’s a whole farm to explore. Grab a coffee, pick up something tasty from the farm shop, butcher’s or fishmonger’s, or have a browse round the independent shops and businesses tucked away in our barns and outbuildings, each one run by someone who loves what they do. Little ones can burn off some energy in the play area, and there are tractor rides to enjoy at weekends and throughout the summer.
Throughout the year we host events for all the family too, from Astonbury Festival and Halloween fun to our Christmas specials, so it’s always worth checking our What’s On page to see what’s coming up. Best of all, entry and parking are completely free, so pop in as often as you like.

Getting here
Opening Times
The farm is open 8am to 6pm, every day. Our independent businesses set their own hours though, so if you’re planning to visit a particular shop, café or business, it’s worth checking their page on this site first to make sure they’ll be open when you arrive.
Parking
There’s plenty of parking on site, with overflow space available too. During bigger events like Astonbury or our Christmas specials, it can fill up, so we’d recommend coming early to make sure you get a spot.
Accessibility
The farm is fully accessible, with toilets on site. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
Good to know
Entry and parking are both free. As well as the animals, you’ll find a coffee shop, farm shop, butcher’s, fishmonger’s and a lovely mix of independent shops tucked away in our barns and outbuildings, plus a children’s play area and tractor rides at weekends and through the summer.
